The solution to this clutter would be a good storage system. As for a home with lack of space, underbed storage would be the ideal choice. Most people need additional bedroom storage and underbed storage boxes are the perfect solution because they do not take up extra floor space like pine bedside cabinets do.

It is not uncommon to have closets already full with the basic necessities such as clothes, accessories, even shoes. This is why other items at home are left without anywhere else to place, e.g., DVDs, toys, books, etc. No need to worry since underbed storage can help you with this type of need. You do not have to suffer in an unsightly and disorderly home since you can already store them in boxes or drawers under your bed. Underbed storage depends mainly on your budget as well as the type of bed you have. The most common, the cheapest and the simplest way to store things under the bed is with the use of cardboard boxes. This however is not very ideal since it is not too appealing to look at and dust easily gathers on it. You will however be able to save some cash by using boxes. Another option is the use of underbed storage bags. This will give the more important articles in your home that has to be stored more protection. These bags differ in material with some made of canvass, others plastic and still others the combination of both which may be transparent and vacuum sealed. The things inside the bags will easily be found making the bag handier to use. Finding things you need from storage becomes a lot easier. Examples of the things that are best stored in underbed storage bags are blankets, comforters and sheets. They are best placed there than the closet since they are too bulky.

Bed risers may be used to allow more space under your bed which you can use for storage. Plastic boxes which are most commonly used nowadays are still another alternative for underbed storage. They vary in sizes, colors and even shapes.

The best form of underbed storage, although perhaps also the costliest, would be underbed drawers. These drawers fit to the bed as if it is part of it because they are usually custom made. They are like another bed that you can pull out from under but instead of another bed, you have things stored there. These drawers vary in material and design and are the best looking among all the aforementioned underbed storage. There are even types that are made of plastic and wicker. The downside of this type however is that they tend to be shallow, thus giving only limited space for storage compared to the other types. You can no longer have an excuse for having a disorderly house given the choice of solutions presented to you. The choice of the type to use is entirely up to you and your preferences.
